Have you met Pooh Bear and Sam?

Pooh Bear and Sam are my brother Aidan's friends, but we were just hanging out today while Aidan was busy watching Jungle Junction.

It appears Pooh has found a Woozle and he's looking to take care of some unfinished business. Or it could just be Matthew's found a new toy.

Forward Movement

The last couple of weeks we've had a lot of progress for our young Matthew.  Matthew started crawling full time May 1st.  Matthew has been saying Mama, and it has been declared as his first word as it is only said when he wants his mommy.  We have also been cruising all over the house and standing all by himself seems only days away.  We have a very mobile young fella.  

Sittin' Around

Matthew has decided that he wants a new perspective on life and has taken to sitting on his own for short periods of time.  Last week it would only be for a few moments, and this weekend those moments are getting to be minutes.  This is allowing him to play with a few toys in new ways.

Just hanging out

Aidan and Matthew had their cousin Will.i.am over to play in the snow (see Aidan's Corner), and afterwards we sat down to get our pictures taken.  Matthew rolled over several times earlier this week, and has been doing a good job of talking lately.

Here is Matthew and his daddy as we prepared to go out trick or treating, and no, Matthew isn't looking at a picture of himself.

Just sitting in my chair

Matthew got dressed up yesterday to go out on the town. He went out to see Aidan go to Oaks Park and Aidan's open house for preschool. He was looking all around, and enjoying the different sights.
